Barnet have signed midfield player, Lee Sawyer who was released by Chelsea in November. The 20 year old has had loan spells at Wycombe, Coventry City and has had two loan spells at Southend United. Sawyer, who has represented England at under 16, under 18 and under 19 levels, have signed on a short term contract after having trained with the Bees for the past fortnight.

The club have also confirmed that Dean Sinclair has returned to Charlton following the end of his loan spell. Sinclair made two starts and two appearances as a substitute and scored against Crewe Alexandra. He joined Charlton from barnet in the summer of 2007 after spending three seasons at Underhill and was a vital member of the Bees’ Conference Championship winning side of 2005. He also scored Barnet’s goal in the Carling Cup that year at Old Trafford in the 4-1 defeat against Manchester United. Manager, Ian Hendon has said that he will keep an eye on Sinclair’s situation at Charlton as the midfield player regains full fitness after being out for most of the first half of the season.
