Cliff Akurang joins Rushden on loan

Cliff Akurang has joined Blue Square Premier club, Rushden & Diamonds on a season long loan. Akurang joined Barnet from Histon in January 2008 and has made 45 league appearances for the Bees, including 16 as a substitute and scored 10 league goals. He joins another ex Bee, Max Porter at Rushden, while yet another ex Bee, Nicky Nicolau is on trial at Nene Park. Akurang was on loan at Weymouth last season and scored 2 goals in 8 appearances for the Terras.
