Barnet have signed striker, Ricky Holmes from Blue Square South club, Chelmsford. Holmes began his career at Southend United before being released by the club at the age of 16. Holmes is 5ft8” and will 23 this Saturday.
He scored 21 goals from 55 appearances last season and has played under Paul Fairclough at England C level. He has twice been named as player of the year at Chelmsford and has been linked with a number of clubs including Peterborough United. Holmes is new manager, Mark Stimson’s first signing for Barnet.
