Former Barnet striker and darling of the East Terrace, Liam Hatch has joined Luton Town on a season long loan from Peterborough. Luton were relegated from League Two last season and will be playing for the first time in the Blue Square Premier.
Hatch left Barnet at the end of 2007 for Peterborough for a fee of £150,000. He joined Barnet in the summer of 2003 from Gravesend and helped Barnet win the Conference title in 2005, forming a dynamic strike partnership with Giuliano Grazioli. Hatch scored 25 league goals in nearly 150 appearances for the Bees before joining the Posh but has only made 1 start for Peterborough in 1 ½ seasons at London Road. He spent much of last season on loan at Darlington where he scored 9 league goals in 26 appearances.
