Joe Tabiri joins Dover

Barnet midfield player, Joe Tabiri has signed for Blue Square South club, Dover Athletic. The Whites, who are now managed by former Barnet player and manager, Ian Hendon, had Tabiri on loan last season, where he made 11 appearances and scored one goal. Tabiri was a product of the PROTEC youth system at Barnet and signed professional forms for the club in 2008.

Tabiri made his first team debut for the Bees, in August 2008, in the Carling Cup 1st round match away at Brighton, where the Bees lost 4-0. Four days later he made his league debut in the 3-1 away defeat At Rochdale. In all, Tabiri made 6 league starts for Barnet plus another 6 appearances as a substitute. He also made 1 Carling Cup start and 1 substitute appearance in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy. He had a number of loan spells which included Grays, Lewes and Havant & Waterlooville.
