Jonathan Hunt joins AFC Hornchurch

Former Barnet midfield player, Jonathan Hunt has joined Ryman League Premier Division club, AFC Hornchurch. Hunt started his career at Underhill and helped the Bees win promotion from Division 3 (now League Two) in 1993. Hunt followed manager Barry Fry to Southend United and later to Birmingham City. He commanded a fee of £500,000 when he joined Birmingham and had another £500,000 move to Derby in 1997. He later played for Sheffield United, Ipswich, Cambridge United and MK Dons before joining St. Albans City and then Harrow Borough.
Hunt made 12 league starts for the Bees plus another 21 appearances as a substitute.
