Jordan Brown leaves Barnet

Barnet left back, Jordan Brown has left the club by ‘mutual consent’. Jordan joined the club in the summer of 2012 from West Ham United and made his Bees’ debut in the 5-1 Carling Cup defeat at BirminghamCity in August 2012. Jordan lost his regular first team place at the end of December of that year to Elliott Johnson and has never got it back and this season his chances have been limited by not just Johnson but also the form of Mauro Vilhete at left back and Jack Saville being able to move across to left back when necessary.

Jordan made 24 league appearances (including 3 in the Conference this season) and 1 game in each of the three trophies last season; Carling Cup, Johnstone’s Paint Trophy and the FA Cup. His last appearance for the Bees was last month in the 3-1 home defeat by Aldershot.

Barnet Mad wishes Jordan all the best for the future.

Meanwhile, Iffy Allen has gone on loan to Redhill who play in the Ryman League Division One South.
