Barnet have signed 29 year old midfield player, David Livermore after the former Millwall player was released by Brighton. Livermore is an experienced player who has made over 300 league appearances in his career and can play in defence as well as in midfield. He began his career as an Arsenal trainee, but joined Millwall in 1999 for £30,000 without making a first team appearance for the Gunners.
He went on to make over 300 first team appearances for the Lions in 7 years and was in the Millwall side that lost in the 2004 FA Cup Final to Manchester United, alongside former Bee, Barry Cogan. Livermore scored 12 goals while at Millwall.
In 2006, he joined Leeds United for £400,000, but moved just a month later to Hull City without making a first team appearance for the Elland Road side. He failed to really establish himself at the KC Stadium only making 45 league appearnces in two years and scoring 5 goals and he had a loan spell at Oldham where he made 10 league appearnces, scoring one goal.
Livermore joined Brighton in the summer of 2008 but only made 12 starts for the Seagulls and was loaned out last season to Luton Town, playing against the Bees at Underhill last April.
