Marsh-Brown leaves for Forest Green Rovers

Keanu Marsh Brown has joined Forest Green Rovers from Barnet for an ‘undisclosed’ fee. Marsh-Brown joined Barnet from YeovilTown in 2013 with Barnet struggling to avoid relegation from League Two. He scored the winning goal at AFC Wimbledon on his debut, a win that looked likely to prove valuable to the Bees’ fight to stay up but, unfortunately, Barnet were relegated at the end of the 2012/13 season.

Marsh-Brown had an impressive season in 2013/14 in the Conference with Barnet and was looked at by a number of clubs. However, last season, his impact was somewhat peripheral and he seemed very unsettled at the club and failed to live up to the expectations from the previous season. The supporters at the Hive also became rather disenchanted with him and there was an air of disappointment around the way that Marsh-Brown appeared to rather waste his considerable talent.

However, Barnet Mad wishes Keanu a successful time at Forest Green.
