Sagi joins Rushden & Diamonds

Sagi Burton who was released at the end of last season has joined Blue Square Premier club, Rushden & Diamonds. The popular centre back joined Barnet last summer from Shrewsbury Town and was named vice captain to Ismail Yakubu.
Burton's season with the Bees was rather an injury hit one, but he made 34 appearnces for Barnet including one as a substitute. He scored just one goal; against Accrington Stanley at Underhill in a 2-2 draw.
Barnet Mad wishes Sagi well at Rushden and hopes he is a success there.
