Sam Togwell signs for Barnet

Barnet have signed 29 year old, midfield player, Sam Togwell after he has impressed n pre season friendlies. Togwell began his career at Crystal Palace, but only made a handful of first team appearances for the Eagles but had loan spells at Oxford United, Northampton and Port Vale before moving to Barnsley in 2006. Togwell made 73 appearances for Barnsley, scoring twice before joining Scunthorpe in 2008 and helped the Iron win promotion from League One via the play-offs a year later. Togwell played for Scunny in the Championship and made 47 appearances in 2009/10. In all, Sam made 182 appearances for the Lincolnshire club, scoring 7 goals before joining Chesterfield in 2012 where he made 60 appearances, scoring 3 goals. He had a short spell on loan at Wycombe last season.
