St Aimie joins Maidenhead United

Keiron St Amie who was released last season by Barnet has joined Blue Square South club, Maidenhead United. St Amie joined Barnet from QPR in 2008 but failed to claim a regular first team place, though he started in the first team last season in the opening match at home to Chesterfield. He made 6 starts and another 7 appearances as a substitute for the Bees but failed to score. He had loan spells last season at Lewes, Grays and Stevenage before being released on a free transfer before the end of the season.

Three more former Barnet players have also joined Maidenhead. Winger, Steve Barnes joined the Bees in 1998 from Birmingham City and made 4 league starts for Barnet plus another 11 appearances as a substitute before joining Hayes in 2000. He later played for Harrow Borough, Kingstonian, St.Albans City, Chesham United and Welling.

Dean Mason, a winger who was at Barnet as a youngster has also joined Maidenhead from AFC Wimbledon. Maidenhead have also signed striker, Aryan Tajbakhsh who had a spell at Barnet last season after being signed by Paul Fairclough from Northwood.
