Striker O'Flynn signs up for the Bees

Barnet have signed 26 year old, Republic of Ireland under 21 international, John O'Flynn from Eircom league side, Cork City. O'Flynn has scored 4 times in 6 Under 21 internationals and has scored 68 goals in 138 games for Cork.

O'Flynn has previous experience in England having played for Leeds and Peterborough early in his career. Barnet signed him on a free transfer. This was largely due to Cork's financial problems which have led to them releasing O'Flynn from his contract there. Former Barnet midfield player, Joe Gamble plays for Cork.
