Farewell To Craig Beattie

CRAIG BEATTIE

Scottish international striker, Craig Beattie arrived in February with the Bees needing a boost to their strike force, particularly after losing Ricky Holmes for the rest of the season. Beattie had been playing in the SPL with St Johnstone and, prior to that, with Hearts and, earlier in his career, had moved from Celtic to WBA for £1.25m.

Beattie made his first start in the goalless home draw with Rochdale where he came close to scoring on his debut. However, that turned out to be his only start and Beattie made just 4 more appearances for the Bees, all as a substitute and failed to score. At the end of the season he was released after a disappointing spell at the club.

Barnet Mad wishes Craig all the best for the future.
