A few players have played for both Bradford City and Barnet and these include, of course, Barnet's current no. 12, Luke Medley. Luke was a PROTEC player who then joined Tottenham Hotspur. He then moved to Bradford City and made 1 start and another 8 appearances as a substitute, scoring 1 goal. He came on as a substitute in both the matches between the two sides last season. He has made 5 starts and another 6 appearances as a substitute for the Bees since signing in the summer. He scored his first goal for Barnet at Rotherham.
Paul Showler was a member of the Barnet side that won promotion to the 2nd division in 1993. He joined Barnet from Altrincham in the summer of 1991 following Barnet's promotion from the Conference that year. He joined Bradford city in 1993. He made over 100 appearances for the Bantams scoring 22 goals before joining Luton Town in 1996.
Des Hamilton is known at Underhill as the player who joined Barnet but never actually played for them. He joined the club as cover in 2004, when the Bees were chasing a place in the Nationwide Conference play-offs. He began his career at Valley Parade, making over 100 appearances for Bradford City before joining Newcastle in 1997 for £1.5m.
