They Played For Both: Barnet & Leyton Orient

A number of players have played for both Barnet and Leyton Orient. Former Barnet manager and club captain, Ian Hendon who captained barnet to their 2005 Conference winning title, played for Orient between 1993 and 1997 making over 150 first team appearances for the East London club. Hendon scored over 20 goals and and made over 150 first team appearances for the Bees.

Matt Lockwood made over 350 appearances for Orient in nearly 9 years at the club and helped them to promotion to League One in 2006. He also scored over 50 goals. Lockwood scored twice in 31 appearances for the Bees in two loan spells in 2008/09 and 2009/10.

Goalkeeper, Lee Harrison made over 350 appearances in two spells at Barnet. In between, he had a spell at Leyton Orient and made 67 first team appearances for the ‘O’,s.

Other players who have played for both clubs include Ademole Bankole, Wayne Purser, Greg Heald, Scott McGleish, Darren Currie, Warren Hackett and Manny Omoyinmi
