Sam Stockley made 177 league starts plus 5 appearances as a substitute for Barnet, scoring 2 goals following his move from Southampton in 1996. He helped Barnet to the division 3 play-offs in 1998 and 2000, but left to join Oxford United for £150,000 following the club's relegation to the Conference in 2001. He subsequently played for Colchester United and Wycombe Wanderers before joining Port Vale in the summer of 2008.

Sagi Burton joined Port Vale from Sheffield United in 2000. He made 86 league appearances, scoring 2 goals for Vale. He joined Barnet in the summer of 2007 after being released by Shrewsbury Town and made 30 league appearances for the Bees, scoring 1 goal, against Accrington Stanley at Underhill, before moving to Rushden & Diamonds in the summer of 2008.

Peter Beadle joined Port Vale in 1998 from Bristol Rovers for £300,000. He made 109 league appearances for them, scoring 39 goals before moving to Notts County in 1999 for £250,000. He joined Barnet in 2003 and scored 3 goals in 13 Conference appearances as well as scoring 2 FA Cup goals, before moving to Team Bath the same year.
