A few players have played for both Barnet and Exeter. A big favourite at Underhill was Sean Devine who played for Barnet between 1995 and 1999 and scored over 50 goals before joining Wycombe for £200,000. He left Wycombe for Exeter City in 2003 and scored over 40 goals in just over 2 years at St. James' Park.
Shaun Gale who played for Barnet in the 1990's later played for Exeter. He made over 100 appearances for Barnet in three years at the club before joining Exeter in 1997. He stayed at Exeter for nearly three years and made over 100 appearances for the Grecians. He later became manager of Havant & Waterlooville.
Alex Inglethorpe, who later managed Exeter, had a loan spell at Barnet in 1995, scoring 3 goals in 6 appearances for the Bees. He later spent a year as a player at St. James' Park, making over 20 appearances for the Grecians.
Neil Saunders is the only player currently at either club to have played for both clubs. He made just one first team appearance for the Bees, coming on as a substitute in Barnet's 3-2 win at Burton Albion in 2003. He joined Exeter from Team Bath in the summer but has yet to make a first team appearance.
