Former Bees On The Move

Two former Barnet favourites have been on the move recently as many players are joining new clubs during the summer transfer window.
Goalkeeper, Rob Burch, who was on loan at Barnet in 2007, has signed for Bees' League Two rivals, Lincoln City. Burch made his debut in the 1-1 away draw at Notts County in January and impressed the Bees fans in his short stay at Underhill where he made 6 appearances for the club. He particularly impressed in the 1-0 home win over Swindon Town where he made many fine saves to play a big part in Barnet taking the three points that night.
Striker, Magno Vieira who was at Barnet for the whole of the 2006/07 season has joined another of Barnet's League Two rivals, this time, Wycombe Wanderers. Magno, who played for Crawley Town and Cambridge United last season, scored 4 goals for the club in 11 starts and a further 15 as a substitute.
Vieira made his Barnet debut as a substitute in the opening game of the season at home to Torquay United. He made his full debut three days later in the away match at Swindon Town. Vieira opened his goal account for the Bees in the home match against Boston United, in September, where he scored twice in a 3-3 draw. However, he never established a regular place in the side. He scored the final goal in the 4-1 home FA cup win against Northampton Town in early December and then had to wait until the final game of the season when he scored a late winner in the 2-1 home win over, ironically, Wycombe Wanderers.
