Graz joins Dover

Barnet legend, Giuliano Grazioli has joined Ryman Premier League club, Dover Athletic. Graz was released by Barnet at the end of last season after scoring 65 goals in over 100 appearances for the club. He joined Blue Square Premier side, Braintree Town in the summer but failed to win a regular place over Braintree's existing strike partnership of Gareth Williams and Sean Marks. Many Bees' fans will have been surprised, and disappointed for Graz, that he was unable to win a first team place in a struggling Braintree side. They are currently fourth from bottom in the Blue Square Premier table.

Graz teams up again with former Barnet player, Andy Hessenthaler who is player/manager at the Crabble. Dover are currently top of the Ryman Premier and aiming to win promotion for the second season running and could possibly exchange places with Braintree!!

Last Saturday, Graz made his debut for Dover coming on as an 87th minute substitute in the Whites' 2-1 win at Tonbridge Angels in the 1st qualifying round of the FA Cup. Dover have been drawn at home to Needham Market in the 2nd qualifying round and, who knows, they may end up getting through to the 1st round proper of the competition and get drawn against Barnet. It would be nice to see Hess and Graz maybe back at Underhill.
