The last time Barnet played a competitive first team game on the 14th December was back in 2002 during the club’s last spell in the Conference. The Bees, under Peter Shreeves, travelled up to the Bucks Head to play Telford United, but sadly, lost 2-1 with Mark Gower scoring for Barnet.

In 1985, Barnet were at home to Runcorn in a Gola League match but lost 2-1 despite a Robert Codner goal.

In 1974, Barnet lost 3-0 at home to Bath City in a Southern League Premier Division game and the Bees were relegated at the end of the season.

In 1968, Roger Figg scored for the Bees as they drew 1-1 at home to Dover in the Southern League, Premier Division.

In 1963, Barnet won 4-1 away at Walton & Hersham in the Athenian League on their way to winning the title.

In 1957, Barnet drew 3-3 at home to Hitchin town in the Athenian League.

In 1946, Barnet lost 9-2 at home to Southend United in the 2nd round of the FA Cup.

In 1935, Richardson scored for Barnet in a 3-1 home defeat by Bromley in the Athenian League.

In 1929, Barnet won 4-0 away at Clapton in the 1st round of the FA Amateur Cup.

In 1912, Barnet Alston beat Chelsea Reserves 1-0 at Underhill in a Friendly Match. Smith scored the winning goal. 

In 1895, Barnet won 2-1 away against Leopold in the North Middlesex League Division One.

In 1889, Barnet lost 3-1 away to Olympic in a Friendly match.
